Artificial intelligence is already being used in food safety auditing - often without the knowledge of the organizations relying on those audits. This webinar will illustrate where it is happening, where it genuinely adds value, and why manufacturers and retailers specifying audits must understand both the opportunities and the risks now, before uncontrolled use begins shaping audit outcomes.
In partnership with Senara Learning, join John Kukoly for this informative and thought-provoking webinar to explore how artificial intelligence is already entering food safety auditing, what opportunities and risks it presents, and how forward-thinking professionals can begin using it responsibly to strengthen assurance programs and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.
John Kukoly is an international food safety assurance leader with more than 25 years of experience across food manufacturing, certification, and global standards development.
A former Director at BRCGS and long-time member of the senior leadership team responsible for the Americas region, he has worked extensively with retailers, manufacturers, and certification bodies to strengthen food safety auditing and supply chain assurance.
Today he advises organizations across the food industry on improving audit effectiveness, supplier verification programs, and emerging challenges, such as the responsible use of artificial intelligence in food safety auditing.

Recently, Kelly Mulholland from Foundation FSSC joined Leanne Singleton from FoodSure for a focused discussion organized by Senara Learning. The session explored how manufacturers can cut waste and boost efficiency, with Kelly sharing exclusive early insights from Foundation FSSC’s global Food Loss and Waste (FLW) survey.
Foundation FSSC recently surveyed over 600 Certified Organizations to gain a better understanding of the status of their food loss and waste journeys. While the data is still being fully analyzed, the preliminary results offer a fascinating snapshot of the methodologies used, as well as the real-world benefits and challenges organizations face today.
