Leanne is a food industry leader with over 25 years’ experience in food safety risk management, compliance and training.
With a background in food technology, environmental health and advanced training in workplace learning and change management, she has worked across regulatory compliance, auditing and certification with organisations including QAS (now Intertek SAI Global) and BSI.
In 2000, she founded FoodSure, a consultancy recognised for its expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS and FSSC 22000, helping businesses strengthen compliance and sustainability. Inspired by food waste challenges she observed during audits, Leanne joined End Food Waste Australia in 2022 to apply her expertise to waste reduction strategies.
Today, she delivers integrated consulting and training to clients ranging from multinationals to startups, aiming to drive safer, more sustainable outcomes across the food industry.
Alison Cousins is a highly experienced Learning & Development professional and qualified educator with a background in food technology.
She has led global training portfolios at BRCGS and BSI, delivering programmes that have reached learners across the UK, EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
A Fellow of the Learning Performance Institute with a PGCE in Secondary Education and a TAP Diploma in Learning & Development, Alison is passionate about empowering learners through impactful training that strengthens food safety, builds culture, and delivers real business results.
